I watched it. Don’t know why. I never have taken anything into account what PFF says. They simply put plays into a computer and produce numbers. They don’t even go watch live games. What they say holds zero count ability with me. But who am I right lol. I just don’t think Madden number mean squat.
What makes a NFL quarterback good. It starts with the little things. QBs that struggle in the NFL and why they struggle is because they don’t do the little things. Never had too. They were just so talented there ability alone carried them through college. In the NFL everyone has that talent if not more. So what separates them from the others? The little things. Mechanics, Footwork, arm and ball placement dropping back into the pocket. Eyes, keeping your feet moving without mechanical breakdowns especially under pressure. Jones has that. So he can go out and play football. The others need to play catch up. And when those little things are not second nature to them and they have to think about doing them every play. That’s how Gabe speed gets away from them. Way to much to do every snap. Are my feet right, is my platform right, my eyes ? My elbo keep the ball up. Or crap where’s the Mike? Where is the blitz coming from? What coverage am I looking at. Is it man or zone. What are the safeties doing? Etc. this is all before the ball is snapped and the play is even ran. Jones has most of that already before putting on a Giants jersey
So PFF can kick rocks
