Not a QB that doesn't look at his receivers ,all do it from time to time. From what has been said he had a designated receiver in Garrett's Offense and was not to deviate from it. We know he wasn't allowed to change plays so who knows?
Hard to disagree with 50yrs observations here. Jones has to progress.
If there's a silver lining.......we have to at least acknowledge that Daboll was able to oversee the progression of Josh Allen from a first option.....then run type QB to a QB that now has the ability to both escape and make a big play with his legs and also (at least it appeared that way in the KC playoff game) diagnose defenses and take advantage of matchups and also find the second or third options. So Daboll has been able to adjust and Coach his QB thru a solid period of development.
We all just have to be hopeful that with Daboll and his Coaching staff, Jones can make the next steps. I don't need a quantum leap, personally......just some consistent signs that some development is evident.
Not saying that anyone is suggesting this.......but it's Jones season to figure it out. T Taylor is not the future and its very hard to build an argument that the rest of our roster is Super Bowl ready....so there isn't a real need to trot Taylor out there unless Jones is just SO clearly not the answer that it just needs to be done.
