Boy does that Oline look bad. Last night Peart and company just looked completely out of sink. Bad communication, poor execution etc. I do understand it’s the Jets front witch is top 3 in the NFL but we all saw how Jones played vs a top front 😳
I think Ezudue needs to stay at LG regardless if it’s starting or back up. His feet were all out of wack last night on the right side. I could be wrong but I do feel it’s because he was on the right side and your feet are opposite.
Bredson also looks better on the left side.
Something the Giants may want to toy with is Cunningham at RG. When he slid inside he played much better. I think it was Cunningham.
Peart is really struggling out there in pass protection. In the run he is pretty solid. Still real inconsistent
It’s obvious who the starters are JMS, Thomas and Neal. The guards are up for grabs. I really would go Bredson and Cunningham as our guards. That’s just me or keep Glowinski at RG.
Looks like our starters at WR are Campbell Hodges and Slayton and Hyatt. Hyatt played a little bit was pulled early. Waller and Bellinger as well. Barkley and Breida. It will be interesting to see how the last back or backs spot shakes down. Looks like Gray is on because of his SP team’s ability. Personally I like Corbin as that last guy. I would try to keep Robinson on the PS if they can
DeVito is a promising prospect. For an undrafted Rookie Quarterback he is really impressive this early. I actually trust him more than Taylor. His mechanics, feet and arm along with pocket presence is second to none. He seems to understand the offense and where to go with the ball. I’m curious how he would play with the starters?
There really isn’t much room up front. Looks like Williams, Lawrence, Robinson, Nunez, Riley are locks. Do they go with 6 up there?
OLB is interesting. Thibedoux, Ozulari, Ward, Simmons seem to be the top 4.
ILB it looks like Okereke, McFadden, Coughlin are in. Coughlin because of SP Teams. Who else makes it ILB and OLB. Personally I like Fox on the outside. Beavers has potential
Safety is an interesting group. Obviously McKinney and Pinnock are starting. Belton is a lock. McClain went into Concussion protocol but I think he sticks because he can play both safety slots and Nickle. So that leaves 1 more guy. Owens it is
Corner it’s pretty clear Hawkins, Banks, Jackson. I think Holmes is out to save 2 million. Flott I think sticks McCloud and Oruwaryi I believe will be that last slot and the other is on the PS.
I forgot WR. Who is in those last slots. Robinson is on once he is healthy. So the top 4
Campbell
Slayton
Hodges
Hyatt
The next group is interesting
Shepherd
Robinson
Both are coming off injuries. Shepherd makes sense but he is probably the most expensive. He maybe a cut and hire into the front office
Then you have
Crowder who I think should make it Beasley I do believe is hurt. Maybe Schoen will move him to PUP in case someone goes down.
Personally I would do this.
Campbell
Slayton
Hodges
Hyatt
Crowder
Robinson
Beasley to PUP
Offer Shepherd a job in the front office
Sills pray he gets through the waivers to go to PS
I would also toy with letting Taylor go and going with DeVito as QB2 and if Taylor clears he goes to that emergency QB slot or do they run with 3?
Thoughts.
Surprise cut is Shepherd and Xman in my opinion
