Red I'll give you some free advice. Sometimes it's best to just not post. I don't think at this point anyone would take you seriously.
I would change your name and come back on the site as a realist. The ONLY thing you and I agree on is how wrong you were throughout the whole process.
And really if you want respect. Stand up for yourself.
I don't want to get personal and nor do the mods here but look at the quality of your work.
Shall I add a Jim Carry video to enhance that point?
When your arguments are weak your posts look like the ones we have been seeing.
Lol. Red.
You seem to get everyone taller up lol. I still like you
I’m going to say this. Someone if you can find it. Every Thibedoux snap vs the 49ers. Watch it. But don’t watch Thibedoux. Watch Purdy!!!
I seen free rushers coming at him. I see rush closing in pretty fast. I see pressure closing in quickly. The most important thing I saw. Ding ding ding. Purdy got the ball out before the rush got there. Most of those snaps. 2 seconds. Ball is out!! Go back abs watch Jones. Do this without bias. Just watch. Both offenses were playing the short game. Both had opportunities quickly into the play. Purdy let it fly. Jones didn’t. He held it. The rush got to him.
There were a lot of misses on Purdy if someone can post it here. But he got that ball out. He gave his receivers a chance. Plays were mad and passes were dropped. My point is Jones needs to get that ball out faster. Not all of Purdy targets were open. But he still threw them the ball. Jones doesn’t do that
Why!!!!
Been saying it for 4 years. Jones needs to see it open to throw it!! A elite QB doesn't need that. All he needs to see is where the receiver is going and can he throw him open. That’s not Jones. Jones is a see it to throw it QB or hold it and wait. If it doesn’t happen he finally moves to his nnew DT read or runs. This takes too long. Not even your better offensive lines can hold up consistently for this. 104 million guaranteed. Hell no!!!
Said this too. Jones should have got tagged not extended. Why? For what we are seeing.
Red. Yes panic. Why. Seattle? Maybe.
Dolphins, buffalo. No way those games go to the win column. Still got the eagles twice and Dallas. Just those games they are likely looking at 8 losses. Can they win the rest? Probably not. One more loss they are 8-9. That’s enough to push them out of the playoffs. Maybe even 9-8. The Giants need 10 wins. The way they are playing no way.
People don’t seem to understand football. Especially complementary football. The offense needs to stay on the field and score. The defense needs to get off the field on 3rd down. It starts with the offense. In todays league with all these rules set in favor of the QB and receivers teams need to score points. 14.3 is not going to cut it.
Even the 49ers players said it. They knew Jones wasn’t going to throw the ball. They new it early. So they played tight and up taking away the run. Daring him to throw the ball further than 5 yards. He didn’t do it and Jones lack of ability to understand what is going on out there is playing right into the hands of defensive coordinators and we are right back to where we have been. Stop Barkley and dare the Giants to throw the ball!!! Until that happens we will all be here fighting over this
My point is this. There is plays to be made out there. Purdy had pressure too. Most QBs in this league do. The QB has to speed up his freaking clock, understand what the players can and can’t do and adjust in real time!! If he can’t. We are screwed. The good ones can. I saw Goff last night get pressure immediately when that ball was snapped. I even saw him throw a bad interception to give Green Bay an 3-0 lead. Goff settled in and started getting that ball out quicker. It allowed those short 2-3 yard runs with that short 3-4 yard pass setting up 3rd and short and eventually he had plays downfield. Jones needs to get that and apply it. Instead we see him holding it patting the freaking ball. Stop with the patting. Just find that open guy and throw it!! He had Slayton a handful of time right away. Open. He just never saw him. Still waiting for that first read to open up. He had Waller wide open on a seam route. Pressure wasn’t there. Didn’t see him. Starring down that first read. This is what worries me.
Yes protection needs to be better. Yes. The defense needs to be better. But it starts with the QB. He needs to make plays in situations like that. Jones just isn’t doing it. At least consistently enough
Jones can do a good job. But for that to happen he needs very good protection all the time, wide open reads and a solid run game. If he doesn’t his play is inconsistent
How many players in protection in those clips? How many out on routes?
When they do use 7 man protections, do they allow pressure? Do they use these moments for passes down field?
You speak of complimentary football. Yet you dont mention a DLman could pressure the QB in 2.2sec but if the DBs cant cover for 2.2sec...what's the use? And vice versa...if you cant pressure the QB that is only utilizing 5 man protections, the DBs need to cover more recievers.
There were very very few plays to be had vs SF. That's why fans are harping on 2 questionable plays...there was NOTHING ELSE!
OLine needs to play average. That's all we are asking. ATM, they are failing to do anything (minus AZ) without committing 7-8 people to block and even then allowing pressures at an alarming rate with less options to pass to.
