Posts like this are why the site has drifted. Let's Give Danny Love? Now you want Love to go with $140 million. Unbelievable.
Danny was the Player of the game. What more could you possibly want. I was on the live feed and everyone there was supporting Danny through the whole game.
It was the defense that was being ripped to shreds- Brutally, Not Danny. The only argument came with time to throw.. When the game was not going our way some posters began to blame the offensive line which was BS-Danny was clean all day. I have a stopwatch.
I personally did say a bunch of times I can't believe this journeyman QB for the Cards looks so good in comparison to Danny but those comments are based off what our D was allowing-- certainly the other QB's good play is not Danny's fault.
But I will say our D seemed to get better when they themselves got some confidence in Danny<-- it's not just the fan base my friend. And there was A very key stop at the end of the game that got us the ball back to eventually use Barkley the way we wanted down the field and nail the FG. (barely)
So I ask in return... How about some Love for the D? When we gave up 20 points in the first half I stated that was it we would shut them down the rest of the way. They did score once more but after that the curtain was lowered.
How bout a tiny slice of Love for The Defense.
This constant need for some sort magic awakening with Danny is a weakness in your own assessment... What you see is what we got. A QB who when he gets hot and is blocked for and has a running game he can deliver us the goods! And we should be happy for that.
When the line is not blocking well and the running game is not there and we are playing a good team who is playing for keeps, Danny does not have the type of talent to rise above and lead us to victory.
So the question is only what do you pay for?
