I stated here and elsewhere that DJ is probably done and we'll get to see the other QBs probably play worse then DJ for the rest of the season.  How is that making an excuse?  Truth is, I'm more in the boat now to want a different QB next year because it is clear to me that DJ is having issues at this point seeing things with a wide enough scope.  (It may very well be shell shock induced from the years of extremely bad OL play he's endured, and especially last year behind one of the worst OLs in history, WHEN DJ DIDN'T HAVE A SINGLE ALL-PRO TO PLAY WITH AND MOST OF HIS OFFENSIVE TEAMMATES PLAYED LIKE CR@P.  AT was hurt in the 1st game and Saquan wasn't an all-pro last season)  None of that is made up or an excuse of some kind to achieve some end.  It's all truth.  Which again, you seem to have serious trouble with.  It's also truth that DJ is probably done with the Giants.  I can handle the truth.  Some just can't I guess.

And I have no idea about your second sentence.  No one has said that or implied it.  That's a completely different animal.  Moving the goal posts I guess.  I mean, Troy Aikmen and Terry Bradshaw played with like 5 or 6 HoFers on some of their teams.  Probably helped them play well didn't it?  If you want to do an in depth study on successful NFL QBs and how many all-pros and/or HOFers they played with be my guest.  Maybe it will be enlightening for you.

What about not having all pros has anything to do with all the plays Jones himself leaves on the field? Because I saw the guy miss 2 big ones last week. The reason this never stops among the fans is because the excuses for this guy never end. 

Is ANY of Jones carer lack of success his fault? I just need y’all to stop with the endless excuses and give the man his share. THE GUY IS AVERAGE AT BEST. That means a JAG. Nothing special. Sorry guys.

I called your statement what it was for any number of reasons, some of which I've actually articulated instead of making a blank, subjective statement like you just did.  What do I mean by articulated reasons:

- Any NFL QB, including practice squad QBs, and many college QBs, would be successful on a team with 10 other all-pros playing on offense because the 10 guys would absolutely bull doze the opposing defense almost every play.  The QB would just have to hand the ball off and make short passes here and there.  In fact, most teams that manage to have two or three generally do very well and their QB is most of the time, quite successful.  (Articulated comment, not subjective, personal opinion like you just made.)

- Secondly, the Giants haven't had anything close to that in DJ's career.  In fact, the one year they had one or two, 2022, the Giants made the playoffs and won a playoff game despite many of the other players on offense being ranked near the 'bottom' of their respective positional rankings.  Edit*  I decided to go back and look at 2022 all-pro/all-star teams, and the Giants didn't have an all-pro, AT was a 2nd team all-star.  Saquan was not either.  Saquan started the year very strong was over-used up through the Detroit game and then had a less than stellar second half of the season which is probably why he missed it that year.  Hence, even in 2022, the Giants didn't have a single all-pro.

Hence, your statement was stupid based on articulated reasons, not subjective, random statements like you just made.
