Is Nick Bosa the best defensive player to come along in awhile?? He is playing on a very solid D, but he is extremely disruptive and productive and doesnt play like a rookie. Fun to watch, wish we had something half as good as him.

Julian Love, considered a steal in round 4 for the NYG, is still listed behind sean chandler on the NYG depth chart at FS. the rumblings from fans to put love in for bethea, seem to forget he hasn't even made enough of an impression on the coaches to be Second string, let alone the starter.
When I was watching the NFL draft live and the Giants passed on Josh Allen I kept on saying. "That's ok, we have a shot at Brian Burns at 17". It was such a gut punch to see him selected 1 pick before us.
Who knows if the Giants even had him ranked higher than Dexter but Burns showed a lot of skill in college to get after the QB. Plus he can cover guys in space. He was one of two (3-4) OLBs that I liked (the other being Josh Allen). Honestly, how many times has that happened over the years? The bears jumping the Giants to take Leonard Floyd, the Titans jumping the Giants to take Jack Conklin, O. J. Howard being taken before the Giants (although I have liked Engram's skill set and the Buccs don't even use Howard at this point. What a waste).

maxx crosby has a sack and two QB hits already in the thursday night game... mike mayock earning his paycheck with fourth round picks like that....wow. look at how good of a game it ended up being for him>>>>>
@crosbymaxx: 10 pressures, the most by any Raiders defender in a game since 2016, and forced 2 INTs from pressure
I get it. The New York Giants have only won one full game with Daniel Jones as the starting QB, but I think the first-year player from Duke has proven that he is capable of becoming the long-term answer for this team. He is on pace to throw for more than 3,000 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. You add those numbers to what he has been able to provide to this offense as a runner, and I think Jones is making a strong argument to be the guy for New York. (Last Week: 4)

I guess I was wrong about cb jamal dean. I was not a big fan...but he is apparently doing great in the NFL. If ir remember correctly he is a tall guy who ran an unofficial 4.31 40 yard dash but his college highlight tape was "meh">>>>
Do the Bucs have a cornerback duo of their own? Coming into the season, we lauded the Bucs for attacking their cornerback issues with a number of different options, a two-year process that just now be starting to pay off. Former Auburn teammates Carlton Davis and Jamel Dean have emerged as one of the best tandems in the league since Week 10. Dean has the No. 2 coverage grade during that time (91.0), allowing just 33.3% of targets to be completed into his coverage, while Davis ranks eighth with a coverage grade of 81.1 and his 11 forced incompletions lead the league during that time period. Dean and Davis bring two physical corners to the outside of the Bucs’ secondary, and they may be another piece or two away from having a breakout coverage unit for 2020.

43 minute mark of pff video discusses the disappointing rookie dude of the NFL. some very big surprises on this list. look at the names of the disappointing players ... wow. nobody would have guessed this list. Makes ya think twice about how much of a guarantee Chase young, or ANT draft pick really is....all the more reason to think about trading back and getting more lottery tickets... deriick brown and javon kinlaw from this draft could be probably better than q williams and christian Wilkins at DT but who knows?....>>>
q williams, e1 got that one wrong.. injuries & scheme could explain... we'll see next year...
clelin ferell.. had an awesome championship game.. got him drafted too high... did not have good pass rush stats...
christian wilkins ( i liked him but in the end i had Dlaw higher after listening to Chris simms discuss, but neck and neck but Dlaw has proven the stud while wilkins not so much)
montez sweat, the combine hero, athletic freak... but his tape was "meh" (told ya so! lol) jerry reese would have drafted that guy... underwear champion... THIS SI THE BIGGEST RED FLAG FOR PROSPECTS. HE WON AGAINST THE BAD COMPETITION AND DISAPPEARED AGAINST THE BETTER TEAMS IN COLLEGE. BUYER BEWARE ON GUYS LIKE THAT! He dos have the athleticism and potential though and could develop into something yet....
jerry tillery... wow.... another DT e1 was high on.... it is such a crap shoot.... it could be a learning curve thing...but dang man.... it was hyped as the best Dt class in forever etc.. and ..yet..... these guys are all struggling!
LJ collier... bull rush edge defender... ha snot figure d out the nfl game yet either..... turning out to be a one trick pony and in the NFL , well its' not working so far....
cb deandre baker... starting to see the light... plays too far off and can't hit them down the field like he did in college... he won a lot in college by making contact down the field.... not fast enough to stick with fast WRs but....his development is encouraging...
WR nkeal harry.... yikes.... has limitations? still young....
cb byron murphy not as bad as deandre baker.... getting targeted by teams..... still developing..may just be a slot cb in the nfl...he is small...lots of missed tackles...but has potential to turn it around still VERY young was a RS sophmore coming out...
JJ arcega whiteside... wow.... blame it on wentz? lol so good in college... weird... in college just throw it his way and he goes and gets it.. wentz does not trust him to do that like he did in college....
DT tristan hill.... why did the cowboys draft him that high? was not a need... a massive reach...
WR paris campbell... straight line speed only.... was not a fan (told ya so! lol) , pff was not a fan either
Rasshaan gary could also be on this list with such a low pff grade....I was not a fan at all (told ya so! lol)
"Crap shoot comes to mind... lottery comes to mind"
daytripper: NFT= non football topic? i didnt know that. im old and trying to keep up lol

rodney27: You're right about the fumbling problem, tl65taog. I just don't think it can be fixed. He had in preseason, has it at a record pace now, and had the same problem at Duke. If he hasn't fixed it in all that time...I just don't know if he can.

tl65taog: yes the fumbling problem has to be fixed, but you have to be fair about it
