the question is why does he seem to disappear against better teams?, and he can he consistently stop the run? a lot of those sacks were against lesser competition. I know he gets doubled, etc, but he will at the next level as well. scouts not as high on him as the media/public.
check out the Michigan highlights... That was Chase young's worst game...but he still got pressur eont he QB.... watch how many times they double and triple teamed him and you also see the OT holding on couple plays as well... If he rush the passer in the NFL like what he did in college he will be a superstar...
Can he do it at the next level against better competition? That is always the question and nobody ever knows with 100% certainty. We shall see. if he goes to the skins we'd better hope he does not.

some thought clemson was his worst game>>>>> theathletic.com/1511366/2020/01/06/despite-no-sacks-chase-young-had-a-significant-impact-against-clemson/
Before they started game planning against him he played two very good teams vs. penn state and wisconsin earlier in the year... he had 4 sacks against penn state and 3 sacks against wisconsin... He was just going off on guys when it was one on one in passing situations... What more could a college pass rusher do to get a high draft grade than that?
look at the rest of his sack numbers and the teams played. Now look at what he did against legit top teams. Good pass rusher but not generational by any means. I’d even argue Okudah is the star of that defense.
