He has The Men-of-Mara trading with Miami to the 5th and taking their 56th.
Fairly realistic from both sides and even the values allotted per slot seem to balance - Though I think Miami also had the 39th pick and that would work better for me than the 56.
With the 5th. Pick he has the Giants Taking Tristan Wirfs. I was surprised. I had seen a breakdown comparing Wills to Tristan and that along with some additional information seemed compelling in the favor of Wills. Or, to put it another way, my lack of sophistication and knowledge make me very gullible and usually influenced by the last thing I read or heard. LOL
I had heard that Tristan Wirfs combines #'s were impressive, and as much as I wanted not to be influenced, I was. "Numbers / Shumbers", said Molly G.
. He was the fastest of all the offensive lineman in the 40. Steam rolling down the track in 4.85,[ though I will check that and adjust if not accurate]. He did 24 reps in the bench, which was actually disappointed given his reputation. But, speaking of athleticism, he did a jump in place of 35 in. Which set an all-time record for offensive lineman. And, to make it even more overwhelming, consider the two top wide receivers in the draft could not beat it. That almost falls in the realm of unbelievable. A 315 lb lineman out high jumping topped ranked, Italian Greyhound built wide receivers.
Columbo, Garrett, judge and David gettleman will collaborate on this pic, they simply cannot get it wrong, no matter who it is.
And here's the bad part, he has Detroit staying put and taking Simmons so the pic of Wirth leaves Jeffrey Oduhah and Derek Brown to the villainous competition . The worry and I potential reality is that this draft will be remembered as a Time when the Giants passed over two Golden jackets. It has to be done, but what a risk.
With the number two pick, our own, Yetta gross Mata Falls in our lap. And with The Porposes purlouned 56th. pic Hennessy, the temple owl, becomes a giant.
I think if Miami is going to trade up it's much more likely with Detroit. But stranger things have happened and boy do I like the results. The downside is that I could see Zack Baun, Biadez, Jeff, Derek or any one of the other ranked offensive tackles the giants would pass on, moving on to Greatness.
But if free agency, didn't overwhelm me, the results seem acceptable in light of this draft or anything that reality may actually produce close to it.
The Giants would be getting: An offensive lineman who could intimidate, a great potential Edge rusher, who I think might make you forget about Simmons in a couple years, and the center the roster so badly needs. And we saw last year what mr. Gettleman can do with late pics.
