Here's the article that discusses the topic and provides two different sets of 5 all time best career Giants. giantswire.usatoday.com/2020/06/02/new-york-giants-lawrence-taylor-eli-manning-highlight-franchise-five/
LT is probably a consensus all time #1 career Giants. I can not argue with that thought. However his off field behavior does bother me a bit.
Choosing my remaining 4 picks is incredibly difficult for me since I have been watching the Giants for 67 seasons. To make it even tougher I am somewhat verse on the entire Giants history. The following are a list of career Giants in the hall of fame along with HOF players that had experience with the Giants.
Tim Mara Founder, Administrator 1925-1959 1963
Mel Hein Center, Linebacker 1931-1945 1963

When it comes to a career head coach I have to go with Steve Owen. 27 years and mulitple championships is more than enough for me.
George Young has to be my career Giants GM if for no other reason he brought the organization out from over a decade of deep darkness.
Limiting my list to players only, LT, Sam Huff, Frank Gifford, Eli Manning and Andy Robustelli would be my top 5 career Giants players. I am not suggesting these players were the 5 best players. These are all great players who were Giants for all or virtually all of their football career and who gave me multiple times of great joy. My best 5 players in terms of pure talent are LT, Frank Gifford, Emlen Tunnell, Roosevelt Brown and Andy Robustelli. I strongly suspect that Mel Hein belongs on the list but I never saw him play.
That was a great trip down memory lane.
