Let’s look at the giants recent history when it comes to this type of thing . Did they handle josh brown situation well ? Not at all, how about signing 2 free agents in one offseason - Michael boley and rocky Bernard ,who were arrested in domestic violence situation -and then Jerry Reese came out to the media discussing what good character guys they are . That absolutely happened ,no you are not a good character person when your being arrested for dv.
‘The nfl has a shameful history on dv, from Greg hardy, to tryeke hill, to other criminals- letting Leonard little play after he killed someone , so it’s not just the giants- not at all. I think the chiefs are enabling a hard core $@#! in tryeke hill, and I could never root for the chiefs ,and I would absolutely want him cut if he played for the giants. Now the giants are going to let a guy facing criminal charges for armed robbery come to camp and potentially play ,that shows where they are as an organization.what really matters to them, what if his trial doesn’t happen till next year- you want him playing for the giants ? And Seattle is equally guilty if they do the same thing with Dunbar, You have to draw the line somewhere , this isn’t Kyle lauletta getting a dui.
Honestly.....who cares? That’s my feeling. All these organizations are trying to win football games at all cost, and will do what they feel is best towards that. That’s the nature of the beast when this much money is involved.
That’s fine, but...when you step up on the podium and try justifying poor personnel decisions by touting their character and “locker room presence”, then you open yourself up to criticism.
Fair?
