That's the same Marc Ross who was in charge of player development for the Giants who was responsible for Ereck Flowers among others, correct ? Oh and wasn't he the guy who said the Giants made a mistake when drafting Jones and they should have picked Haskins I believe.
I guess if you're going to use him as a reference and he can THEORIZE on Judge's future based on nothing we can refer the article where NFL execs labelled Jones as the 2nd best year 2 QB behind Kyler Murray, the article saying the Giants have 2 interior linemen rated in the top 25 of the NFL, with LW being #17 and the article that said the Giants have, I believe the 2nd best group of under 25 talent in the NFL.
I have seen repeated references about Judge not having the resume to back up being a tough guy. Was BB born with a reputation and resume as a tough guy ? Did he enter the league as a well know tough guy analyzing film or did he earn the reputation by coming in as a tough guy and his success reinforce the persona ?
My guess is he came in with that approach and his successes reinforced it. I guess you and all the people who disagree can already tell that Judge, who comes in just as BB did, without the resume and reputation, will fail.
So if the Giants start off 0-3 he will be tuned out, just like what happened to Spags when they started out 0-3, the defense tuned him out, or was that the year they won the SB ?
So Flores, another BB assistant, in Miami had instituted something similar last season. How did the Fins end their season, winning 5 of their last 9 was it ? Not playoff or SB ready but you could say trending upward. But of course he doesn't have a resume or is a BB disciple so that was probably an aberration and they will fall back on their losing ways.
Show us a current member of this team who is complaining or even questioning Judge's methods, not a former LB who lasted 7 weeks, not a former exec who helped kill a SB winning team with his personnel evaluations and was fired, not some former players who have been on the sidelines for at least 5 years and who get noticed when stirring the pot like Sharpe and Schwartz. Also funny how the Giant beat writers, who have trashed the team in the past are also defending Judge and are at least willing to give him the benefit of the doubt when those of us here are no where near as informed can make such declarations.
Nice to have an opinion, nicer if there are facts to back it up, harder to wait and see before passing judgement.
Saquon took it upon himself to run after practice but then again it was a mistake to draft him because RBs are a dime a dozen and having someone who will lead the team by example was a poor choice and it may not translate into W's or L's so who cares if he's a leader or not.
