Yesterday was the first time I followed the posts on the "Game Thread." 55 pages of negativity. Now don't get me wrong I agree this team is not playing well enough for a full 60 minutes to win in the NFL PRESENTLY .
DANIEL JONES is not a "bust." Any quarterback could/would have fumbled on that play yesterday. He was getting the ball out quicker and checking down his reads. He missed a few open guys (what quarterback don't). At the beginning of the 3rd quarter they showed a stat that Jones was hurried, hit or sacked almost every time they called a pass play. I started a thread last week that I said looked like Jones was regressing but yesterday, other then the fumble, he made strides and if the receiver stayed put instead of moving to his left just as Jones released the ball on the final drive he would have been in position to catch it. Jones made some great throws downfield while scrambling for his life. I would give Jones the rest of the year before calling him a bust.
Btw a lot of you guys calling Jones a bust are the same guys saying that Trevor Lawrence couldn't do nothing either with a poor O line and no receivers. which is it??
ANDREW THOMAS IS A BUST?!? yes he got beat bad on the sack/fumble and allowed some pressures but I also saw him make plays and pancake guys. Ok so he is no Orlando Pace but give him a break already. Again wait until the season ends to call this rookie a bust. I understand the whining about Hernandez (he is a bust) after 2 plus years and he stands shoulder to shoulder with Thomas.
Btw here is Derek Carr, speaking to the press after the Raiders win over the Chiefs yesterday. Fast forward the video to 4:30 and listen to what he says about the impact a good offensive line and receivers have on the quarterback play.

Yes I agree DG must go but I base this on the Leonard Williams and Deandre Baker debacles not the Jones, Barkley or Lawrence picks. And if they fire DG they need to look outside of this organizations front office for a solution.
