That still applies.
But is completely irrelevant when you are posting on a forum with a set of enforced Code of Conduct rules.
we are all adults here. if someone says, "your not a real fan", " go root for another team", etc etc....dont be so sensitive.
Ive been here since it was BBWC.com, before rivals, and whatever it is today. and there are "typing" arguments, and so what.
all you who oppose have never argued on a street corner.
I remember as a kid, in brooklyn, a block from the subway, 2 stores over from the synagogue, a block from the candy store, guys of all ages from 14 to 30 arguing sports, all seasons, example..., who was better Munson or Bench , for you young guys those are baseball players and Im not telling you their first names or how great they were, google it !.
football season came, everyone had the football tickets, not for the games, but you know the kind ...pick 4 out of 4, 5of 5, pick 9 of 10...all against the spread, and they had all the college games too...versus the spread too...the bookie used to win. place a buck, hand in the ticket and argue. LOL.
we would argue day and night when we werent playing ball. and we knew all sports too.
it didnt hurt anyone.
and there was a code, no one got punched or fought.
and there was money involved.
BUT here, on this board this is a topic thats too sensitive.
now, this is where I would call you a name, (mary, weak, dumb) these are examples.
of course i dont call names. people are sensitive and I have better language skills.
But even if, even if a name was spewed, so what.
there was a great scene in the movie The Sandlot, where one team with uniforms is challenging the sandlot kids, and after a few heated words, one of them yells, "you throw like a girl"....a tremendous insult...LOL....they settled on the field.
Cool story.
