After thousands of posts and hundreds of mock drafts along with free agency let’s talk division instead of beating our 2 pick against a brick wall.
So the Eagles are favorable to win our division and rightfully so. I’m going off of a hunch here but the Division winner in our division rarely wins it the fallowing year. The Eagle do have the most complete roster in the east and should be taking the division again. Or will they?
Division winner
Eagles.
I just don’t see history repeating itself this year. But I do not think this division will be wrapped up until week 17 concludes. We all know if the injury bug hits the Eagles they could easily be a 7-9 team if not worse A good Oline and solid running back by committee with a decent receiver core and good TE play they are balanced on O. Defense could be there bugaboo but have a solid play caller in Schwartz. Record 11-5 but lose first game in the playoffs
Runner up
Giants
Yes I’m going there. I think Shurmur will get a few good years out of Eli and there Oline is already improved. A few more pieces like a guard or tackle and a RB they may be very explosive on offense Shurmur offenses are pretty consistent and balanced. Defense is what worries me and debth. Ogletree will settle the defense down and I do believe that group will get Apple back on track. Another ILB and pass rusher they maybe solid group
Record 10-6 and a wild card spot but upset a few teams. I think they could get hot late with a favorable schedule towards the end. A slow start hurts there chances at the division title
3rd Cowboys
Prescott never has impressed me. And loosing Dez will hurt them more then we think. The Oline isn’t what it use to be neither is Whitten. The defense maybe the worse in the division
Record 8-8
4th Redskins
Alex Smith and Cousins were an even swap. One isn’t much better then the other. No receivers and running backs rotate to injury to the field to injury weekly last year. There defense can be good if they stay healthy
7-9
