It was bandied around here " Golloday is Key".
I'm going to submit that Neal is key. I expect a good year from Barclay, I think the receiving corp (with or without Golloday) is going to be strong , I've always liked Jones....all provided the oline is strong and I think the line needs immediate input from Neal to be strong/ to be productive.
And there's the rub, because tackles take time. We saw that with Andrew but with the immortals too, they sometimes start out at guard until they've done with their "teething".
So the question is, can we reasonably (unreasonably?) expect immediate productivity from our incredible draft pick. ?
If I were a reasonable man, i'd discount my own input; I'm always too optimistic and satisfy a camel's thirst with gallons of the Kool Aid.
But how can you not be? If you need assistance, google the 370 lb. agility of the year video It's like watching a 140 lb. gymnastic defying gravity. Neal stands between two 48 inch blocks, jumps and winds up with a foot on each. Trick camera work? Seems impossible. For reference I think of Roosey Grier and a gut and all of 260 clumsy lbs.
Evan Neal man has demeanor, he's quietly confident and projects same. His physical tool box, moves him to something created in the lab. (What was the metal they used for Wolverine's bones? Adentium??)
Lab creation or not, there's two questions here: Is he key / the straw that stirs the drink and stabilizes a line that will lack continuity; No.2 Does he have the tools to step in from opening day or are we watching a developmental project?//
I'm casting a positive vote for both, but I suspect that will make me a minority. Can't wait to see it play out and convinced that we drafted someone very special.
