Maybe its fatigue. Perhaps the speculation on who the Giants are going to pick is draining my way of thinking. Glaring holes on our roster? There are none and at the same time there are plenty. A paradox.
I think Joe Schoen has done a good job filling the roster spots with talent that was needed. Was all the player acquired elite at their positions? No. But the players all filled voids on the roster. J.C. Hassenauer will not be a household name but fills a need.
Having said this and where we pick...does moving back to round 2 really sound bad? A team like Houston...could grab two very good players in the 1st round and move up from the 33rd pick right back to the 1st round and grab another need for their team.
I just have a gut filling the Giants don't have a guy who they would trade up to get and at the same time have multiple guys expected to be there in round 2 that would be tremendous for our team and while moving back we could get more than one of these guys.

YES it takes a team wanting to trade up...YES I get it. But where we pick is prime for teams to move up on a guy who slipped farther than expected and hopefully a team that desires that guy wants to move up for him.
Joe I am sure has several guys he will draft if there are no takers, but I cant help the feeling the Giants are OPEN for business.
