3-3.
they had a long drive.
we actually answered.
I was, as I am sure many of you, thought, HEY we can compete.
Then 49ers had another long drive.
BUT BUT the telling sign in the drive was that they converted 3rd & 15 and 3rd & 12, both for 30 yard pickups or thereabout. BUT that was only 10 - 3.
and then we got the ball on kickoff and went THREE and OUT.
THIS WAS the telling sign of the end all of the game.
49ers, had at one point converted 7 of 9 on 3rd downs.
and Wink's defense is suppose to be what....good.
well, again it gave up 30 points in a game again.
Offense. 82 first half yards.
I think our play calling really if bad, this Kafka calling on runs on 2nd and long, (when we do not have a run game) just sets up failure because we then have to make a 3rd and long.
first half specifically, Jones did not use his legs to rush at all.
he did a nice roll (escaping) and hit Breida with a pass, and another time the other RB (who on cue dropped the ball as it hit hos chest.
Defense...is it players, scheme, coordinator. ALL OF THE ABOVE. because surrendering 33 ppg average is horrendous.
how is this suppose to work when in a pass happy league YOU DONT HAVE A PASS RUSH , answer me that.
just sit and have DBs play man....thats not going to work. sorry it will not.
now onward to a Monday night, another national game, I feel for the players, the whole league is watching them. and theyre NOT GOOD, they keep getting embarrassed and losing by Double Digits..
seahawks come in. and we line up Jones and his 1 - 11 prime time record.....good luck to NYG.
ps- the one thing for season ticket holders is thats it is easy to sell on the secondary market to fans of the opposing teams.. theres really no premium since theres actually tickets available every game too. But none the less, easy to sell. the demand locally is not there. o-well.
another crap season.
