Folks I think we have officially bottomed. I have a stock market background so I am familiar with the ebbs and flows of success and failure and group think and hive mentality and this morning for the first time the ENTIRE board is negative. Not one pie in the sky optimist, even dear old Grizz appears resolved to the horrible situation we find ourselves in.
Difficult times and for Giant fans the pain seems to come again and again on a weekly basis. In fact health wise I think the Giant fans might be the sickest in the world right now. I don't mind saying, I'm not pooping right. I like to read the paper, the sports section, any section it's a minefield of negativity, disappointment and horror. You get clinched up.
Now we have a decision to make. Do we Play For Pride... That's kind of the last metric left. We are not playing for the coach that's for sure. And apparently not for ourselves which is weird. Finally got a half decent article out of someone Dan Duggan. It's one fault is relies on the number trick. 5 reasons why we should not lose hope, etc.. Dan's is decidedly negative and rightfully so but the big point he made I totally agree with-- What's up with JPP!!! So dan's take:
Giants' 10 biggest disappointments | Jason Pierre-Paul, Eli Apple
1-Apparently Pierre-Paul's four-year, $62 million contract came with a superpower: He's been the Invisible Man in the first four games. Pierre-Paul has made one big play this season:
2-Apple, the No. 10 pick in 2016, is starting to draw scrutiny as another potential bust. Apple has allowed 31 catches on 48 targets for 417 yards, eight touchdowns and no interceptions since Week 16 of last season, according to Pro Football Focus. That doesn't even account for his two pass-interference penalties during that stretch.
The article goes on to list an incredible 10 Problem areas for the Giants and there's a few more! Boy we are in a pickle.

At a crossroads we are-- as fans we can embrace the lose every game for the draft pick mentality and a race to the bottom.
McAdoo last week was #5 on the Hot seat list... a news outlet has created a such a list this season and undoubtedly he will have moved up... So we can blame the coach and I want to but really the complete lack of effort that shows on the field at times, the largeness of the badness, even our best defenders getting burned. It's really on the players.
Pride. Can we find that last stopping point before we dissolve into inter squad bickering? Well, I won't back down
No, I won't back down You can stand me up at the gates of hell But I won't back down! GO GIANTS!!!!! ~stoney
