My personal opinion is that teams and coaches push young QBs too soon, trying to save their jobs or win back the fan base. It's better to shelve the expectations, as the Giants are trying to do with Jones and let him develop at his own pace. When he's ready to take over, get him out there. Just be sure he's ready. If 8 -10 starts from Eli is the price to pay to have Jones ready to step in and lead this team going forward, it's a small price to pay.
