lost....
I sat in disbelief, ventured an opinion in a couple of threads and figured I better shut up cuz I'm hopelessly out-of-touch and learned, and played, the game by different standards
The only way this kid could make it at 5:10 I wrote is if he runs and if he runs he's going to get hurt.
The offense that he supposedly grew up, in makes sense, it's that basic. That was touted as an advantage Comet he knew the coaches offense, doesn't sound like an advantage to me.
I think we're watching the beginning of a Trainwreck. There's so many plays that he is simply not going to be able to make. He could get away without a full quiver in college but you just can't take some of the basics out of the repertoire in the nfl. At a short 5:10 I don't think you can throw the quick slant over the lineman. I don't think you can throw from a collapsing tight pocket.
Granting his super agility and speed he's going to be going against agility and speed he's never seen before.
It highlights a point that the nihilists will never concede, even after the slide down of rosin and the beginning, I feel, of the devaluing of this kid. 50% update highly drafted quarterbacks do not make it.
And how's this for the nihilist to swallow, it's not impossible the two years from now we're going to be able to say the best offensive player in this draft went to the Giants, and maybe 3 of the top 10 defensive players followed him
That's how good perhaps (??) Lawrence, Baker and Ballantyne could be.
Yes, both Kyler and Daniel our beginning and it is not definitive. But that didn't stop the nihilist for weeping about the pics. So I'm not going to let it stop me from rejoicing. Hallelujah, I'm free of Cali at last, Hallelujah
