Do we play the Dolphins this year? Boy if were do that game and the Washington game these are the Predator Bowls the Chase Young games.
If the Giants get some wins and rise up we are going to be looking at AJ Epenesa-- Iowa I am very scared about this guy. On the one hand this is a Man. This dude is NFL ready from day 1. Period. But the effort is it here every play... He's a guy announcers like to shout out how great he is because that's in their notes but watch a whole game's worth of snaps and this guy could be so much better. Effort where does that rank on the ole' Giant scale...
Ok-- the other side of al of this-- this guy is a mercenary and has his eye on the NFLand he shirked int this seasons flat out saved himself up until about Nov when al the sudden he had an outburst of productivity. He had 3 sacks all year and then 5 inNov! It's kind of like Ok time to wake up...
And he might be damn good in the NFL!!! I mean on the Steelers oh i could see him being very good. Patriots it has to be the right team. Are the Giants the right team though?
Through October, Epenesa had just 3.5 sacks on the season in eight games. Then he woke up-- saw it was almost draft time--
AJ Epenesa November stats (4 games)
24 total tackles
9 tackles for loss
5.5 sacks
3 forced fumbles
When he turns it on he's THE REAL deal. Very good outside swipe rush kind of guy....
GR-- What did you think of Leatherwood in the loss? I like! Athletic.. great frame love his kick out block and he pulls!
Leatherwood is excellent in pass pro from what i saw. I'm not sure he is the run blocker we need though. that's why I think Jedrick Wills is my guy. Wills has the highest pff run block grade of all the OTs I think. Leatherwood looks like he is more NFL build though.
Saquon needs some horses to open some holes. Both are Nice players, but who is going to get those dirty yards for us or open creases to spring Barkely for 20, 30 50 yard bursts?
