I have this feeling the Giants will be picking 3rd. Just a hunch.
-Jeff I have been having some of the same feelings. THIS GAME WILL TELL-- It's all Hands below Deck, dive, dive, dive. Stay huddled under the waves and just wait for it all to be over. This would be the stupidest game to win of all time. I expect not only one wrong way touchdown but four Danny Dimes Fumbles two returned to the house next the stadium by accident. Three safeties and seven missed field goals for a final score of.... Redskins 4 Giants 2.
I think the NYG are the only team in the NFL that did not sign any players off of other team practice squads. Am I right?
- GR I remember we got the pass rusher from the Steelers and then they stole him back. Had a weird name Tupac or something.
There is a picture of when these two QB's Haskins and Jones met after the first go around and these two guys look like MORTAL ENEMIES, the look on Jone's face is quite scary.
Haskins had a revengeful stare as well-- These two guys do not like each other one bit. I guess for obvious reasons they both wanted to Be NY Giants and only one could... But it feels to me to be a bit deeper something Haskins has said in the past or in the draft run up didn't sit well with Danny at all.
And when I think about it I guess this is why Danny is starting. It's too tick off and motivate Haskins. Strange as it sounds Giant brass have thought through many different outcomes to lose this game and it's not so much about Jones and his performance, the Giants want to ensure a big game from the Redskin QB. Let him go sky high with the high fives, take a selfie or two with the officials on the field, whatever just win baby. Have your day. Next year when your picking your broken body up from a Chase Young sack we can talk about it.
It's Jones I'm worried about. That searing intensity that brooding nature I don't want him trying to win this game with everyone else trying to lose it. he could get hurt in that set up I don't want Danny running at all!!!! If the field is wide open and he could run for a first down do NOT TAKE IT! Those are orders.
Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins actually threw up when he watched his first game film.
“I throw up watching that film,” he said. The EXACT same response John Mara had when we lost to the Jets.
Haskins has revenge on his mind... his first NFL game was a 24-3 loss at the New York Giants on Sept. 29. Haskins appeared at halftime resembling a contestant on Naked & Afraid
“I don’t want to talk about it,” Haskins continued. “It’s done with.” And then he threw up again right at the podium yesterday.
“It isn’t that I don’t like the tape. It’s just I’m a whole different player than I was back then,” he said. “I feel watching that tape is not me and it wasn’t me out there. You want to look at it and be like, ‘That’s what I messed up on,’ and move on from it. I don’t mind watching it. I just prefer to watch something else.” like Naked & Afraid.
Haskins, whose comments in news conferences can be short, has never welcomed the comparisons to Jones. When asked Wednesday what meaning he takes from playing against Jones again, Haskins was curt.
“Absolutely none,” he said.
Jones’s statistics look better. He has completed 61.6 percent of his passes for 2,374 yards, with 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, compared with Haskins, who has completed 56.9 percent of his throws in three fewer games for 1,232 yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions.
