Wow sunshine. A D for Barkley. But hey. It’s your right. Here we go
1st round. Barkley
I rarely come across a negative scouting report on him. The only things I see is A for 233 pound RB with legs the size of tree trunks he tries to shake and bake more then just finish his runs. B for a big guy he does try to bounce it to the outside instead of taking what he can get. Take those 3 tough yards. There important. To his defense Penn St line were not good run blockers
My grade is A- because the above are coach able and he will listen
2nd Round Hernandez
I actually had Connor Williams ahead of Hernandez for 1 reason here. He can play Tackle and Flowers scares the heck out of me. As a pure guard he is amazing. Instant upgrade and a pure power blocker for Barkley He can pass protect too. I’m eating my wards on Williams.
My grade A
3rd round 1 Carter. I actually was mocking Jewell here because he can do it all just needs some fine tuning. I pictured him next to Ogletree on all 3 downs. But Carter fits the mold of a pure OLB in a 3-4 and probably has more value because of his ability to hunt QBs
My grade B+. He is undersized and has a questionable motor
3rd round 2. Hill. I was shocked OT didn’t get drafted here. I was hoping for an entire Oline rebuild but Hill maybe a monster. He may have Donald skill set. Great hands strong and can rush the passer. Good value at 3
My grade A-
Round 4. Lauletta. Well I did want a QB it just came later on. Sorry Sunshine I disagree for my own beliefs in QB. My argument was Rosen because he has good Accuracy Mechanics and is smart. Lauletta has a similar skill set witj better mobility but lower competition and little less arm But my big 3 he has so personally I think he beats out Webb after Eli retires when ever that is and he takes over. It’s possible
My Grade A
Round 5. McIntosh. I’m not sure what they will do with him. Is he an in-line DE or is he a DT? Personally I like him at Inline DE but that’s me There were a few tackles I liked here and a FS but Gettleman has a plan and it’s a cookie cutter league. Lots of fresh big men up front and rotate them often keeping them fresh
My Grade B- reason is OT and FS I believe we’re netter value there. Kid from Penn St Allen and Crosby as well I think were there but it may pay off big if our Dline takes off deep into the season
Overall he did very well. Why I disagree with you Sunshine on Barkley is 1 penn st line wasn’t a good blocking line 2 Barkley is coach able
