a bunch of players that could not make it in the NFL.
a bunch of players who were once in the nfl, now they are not.
and same for coaches too.
so whats the point.
money...cmon this is not going to get ratings, and does nfl think that their fans are going to forget football that we need these 8 teams, basically minor league to entertain us. and its double A ball at best. its not triple A where guys are ready to call up to the majors to use a baseball analogy. its truly double A, development league.
but is that really needed. teams have practice squad, and if the need for more development was there, expand that.
silly things , so called experimental, like the 1,2 or 3 pt extra point...this trying out things against the norm is silly to me.
and kickoffs, geez, this issue. all of a sudden guys are always getting hurt only on the kickoffs, its BS.
and we get to go with reporters listening and filming and showing us at home the locker room....do you really need it, or want it. I couldnt care less.
the average nfl career is 3 years, its not gonna change with messing with the clock, kickoffs or other.
may as well bring back the fumble recovery to start the game, remember that sillyness.
if nfl wants to make the nfl better.
1- get rid of pre-season, college does not use it, pros dont need it either. have 2 more weeks of scrimmages with other teams.
2. then expand rosters, and since your getting rid of preseason crap, make the season 18 games.
thats better for this fan.
but double A football, I will pass, no run..i mean skip it.
ps- and yes there will be the time a player or two or three that'll make it to the nfl from this, and itll be hailed a success.
well, I am not buying it or the souvenirs, t-shirts, etc.
if nfl wanted to back some kind of football related entertainment, they should've bankrolled the arena league, Now that was entertaining if you ever saw it, especially in person.
