No, not that division The NFL East
Even after Mondays defeat (I want to say "debacle" but I don't think it was that bad) I still think we can be in the hunt...
Dallas looked good in defeat to a LA, that's not easy to do. But Prescott seems to have moved his game forward and he has always been the beneficiary of a superb line, almost great receivers (wait until Cee Dee Lamb hits his stride) and the dynamo that the contemptible (sorry for making it personal but I can't stand this guy and eyes that look crazy) Elliot represents.
But Van Esch (sp? I mean the linebacker) is out and he might have been the heart of the defense..
Conclusion: In spite of an opening game loss, the Cowboys (as of this writing) are - surprisingly - the team to beat in the East. But that doesn't mean they're not vulnerable and the we can't be (or become) the team to prove that.
Wash...Kerrigan, Sweat and Young....but that's it. I think the QB looks awful and that's not going to be enough to beat us...Not with Hankins.
PHILa...how could they lose so badly?.. Continuity at all positions, experience winners, fine coaching and they got their receivers back. And down 17 at the half ,they get shut out in the second half and get embarrassed. Maybe a weird off season that saw then invest in a qb that they won't play for years and something unaccountable moves is crippling them. A team perhaps with more offensive line problems that The Giants.
Right now, there isn't one of these teams that scares me. And I think we have more talent than anyone is giving us credit for. If Judge can keep this crew together and improve the offensive line I still think The Giants can take this division
