Oklahoma cornerback Parnell Motley --In his final game, Parnell Motley gave Oklahoma everything he had
LSU’s 63-28 drumming of Oklahoma
In his final game in an Oklahoma uniform, Motley played from the first snap to the last. The score never changed his attitude or the effort he played with.
He was seen making run fits in the second half. He was still trying to get his licks in on Biletnikoff Award winner Ja’Marr Chase—who trash talked Motley earlier in the week, begging him to try and be physical with him, and only recorded two catches, with neither coming when Motley defended him. Still trying to fly around and make plays.
There’s something to be said about a guy who never lets up when it would have been easy to go ahead and move on.
“That’s Mot—he’s an ultimate competitor,” Manning said after the game. “You’ve seen all season, he doesn’t sub much. That’s just him. He wants to be out there. When it’s a one-point game or really, when we are leading the game by 20, he wants to be out there. He is a really, really competitive guy and I think that’s his edge. I think that’s what makes him him.
“Even tonight, when the game is a little bit out of hand, he’s still out there making tackles, fitting a run and covering guys. Those are the things that you hope that as a coach you get to coach a guy that is that way that truly, truly loves this game. And I think Mot does, so again, I am proud of him.”

Stuff happens I noticed this cat at the east west shrine and something that was said about him that caught my ear-- that he went up against a great receiver CeeDee Lamb every day in practice and that made him a very good player.
REVENGE IS A DISH BEST SERVED SOONER
CB Parnell Motley, Oklahoma – OK, Parnell Motley was bad day one and day two he fared better but day three, he showed up and said; “Not on this day!” Yes, he got beat early by Diondre Overton who literally just showed up today and he also lost another rep to Aaron Parker that was just a great throw at the pylon on the boundary but Motley was physical yet again, he showed up in run fills and support. He was nasty in red zone drills, he broke early on a Kevin Davidson pass that was intended for Aaron Parker which Motley should have intercepted but he couldn’t complete the catch. This was clearly his best day.
Parnell Motley, CB, Oklahoma
On mostly average-at-best Oklahoma defenses, Motley stood out as a play-making cornerback. His pass breakup figures improved from nine to 11 to 13 in his final three seasons with the Sooners, and he hauled in six interceptions in that span. Listed at 6-feet and 180 pounds, Motley isn't super strong and his hips can be a little tight, but his feet are lightning quick, and he obviously plays with high-end awareness at the catch point.
Ladies and Gentleman... I can tell you a few things. Parnell is tough as nails and you won't read about him in any draft site for the Giants!!! This is another deep dive) ) )
